A burst supply line, an overflowing tub, or a storm surge under the back door doesn't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Our San Diego-based teams arrive with truck-mount extractors, moisture meters, and drying gear staged and ready to go.
Too many San Diego, CA families have called a big national number only to get bounced through hold music before a random subcontractor shows up hours later, so Hirex Water Damage built its San Diego operation differently. Every technician on our San Diego roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Our crew leads carry IICRC water restoration certifications and have logged real hours on Category 1, 2, and 3 losses, so Water Removal in San Diego isn't a side service we tacked on β it's the reason the company exists. Full liability coverage and San Diego, CA licensing back every job we take, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
Because our equipment lives in a San Diego, CA warehouse rather than out of state, we're not waiting on a supply run before we can start extraction.
Ask any San Diego property manager who has dealt with a burst supply line at 3am β the difference between a crew that shows up ready and one still loading a truck at the shop is measured in gallons of water soaking into your subfloor. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one San Diego call at a time.
Not every leak announces itself with a flooded floor. A lot of the worst damage we see in San Diego started small and got ignored for weeks. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If you're nodding along to any of these, get ahead of it now rather than later β our San Diego dispatcher will give you an honest read on urgency, not a sales pitch.
We size the San Diego response to the actual damage β a single-room extraction gets a two-person crew, a commercial loss gets the full fleet β nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
We arrive with submersible pumps and truck-mount extractors that get standing water out of a San Diego property before it soaks deeper into the subfloor. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
We place industrial dehumidifiers and air movers based on actual psychrometric calculations, not a standard equipment count per room, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
For San Diego homeowners, that means drywall removal at the flood cut line, subfloor assessment, and content pack-out for anything that can be saved, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
Multi-unit and commercial San Diego properties get their own project manager plus enough drying equipment to cover the real square footage, not a token setup β we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
Category 3 blackwater calls for full PPE, antimicrobial treatment, and disposal of anything porous that touched the contamination β our San Diego crews are trained for exactly that protocol.
On top of standard drying, our San Diego crews treat affected materials to reduce mold risk and will be upfront if a section needs specialist remediation.
We quote the job before equipment gets plugged in, so there's no surprise line item buried in the final invoice.
Because our equipment cache sits inside San Diego, CA, most San Diego calls see a technician on-site in under 60 minutes.
We photograph and log every step specifically so your claim moves faster and you're not the one arguing with the insurance company.
We don't call a job finished until the moisture meter agrees, and if it doesn't, we return at no additional cost.
Our San Diego team asks a handful of targeted questions so the truck that shows up already has the right gear loaded.
Our nearest available San Diego crew is dispatched immediately with truck-mount extraction gear on board.
Standing water comes out first; drying equipment gets placed only after we've mapped exactly where moisture is hiding.
We don't close the file until the numbers confirm the structure is dry, and you leave with full photo and moisture documentation.
Our San Diego technicians use moisture meters at the start and the end of every job, and the final number has to hit the dry standard before we leave. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
That's not a marketing line β it's written into every San Diego work order we issue. If a second visit is ever needed, it comes from the same crew that handled the original job whenever scheduling allows, since they already know the property and the readings we started from.
